Wedding Schmedding

What is it about Weddings that make girls go crazy?  I certainly had a bit of a clue when I was younger.  Now I HAVE the clue.  It is the anticipation of it all.  The anxousness, excitement, and stress.  I never knew how much stress a Wedding could bring on until now.  It is a good stress though.  It is, and will all be worth it.
I am a bit different about some Wedding things than most girls are.  I knew what kind of dress I wanted right off the bat, I know what I hate, I know what I love.  I know that "most" things people are used to seeing at Weddings, I find horrid and tacky.  I am glad that I know what I want!  I was always that kind of person, and find it a rarity to be lost.  Both literally, and figuratively.  I do not want to give much away about my own wedding, but I can tell you that you may be shocked to see a few things that you will...or will not.  I can almost promise you there will be NO tulle.  Im not sure what it is about that fabric, but it makes me cringe.  I immediately think "cheap" when I see it.  That is just me.  The decor is not going to exist of mirrors, and candles, and chair covers, and more tulle, and flowers galore, and odd, weird things that I find totally irrelivent at most weddings.  I want people to see US.  Landon and I.  The people we were raised as, the couple we have grown into, and the kind of Marraige we will lead.  I want people to come and feel comfortable.  Not like they have to be stuffy and behaved.  I want them to see what we love, who we love, and the people we are.  I want them to enjoy themselves, make friends, meet family, laugh until they cry, and dance...even if they usually hate dancing.  Its a celebration of two lives.  Its a CELEBRATION!  Have fun!

I wasn't going to add a photo...but I will.  Its of coarse taken with a point and shoot, and was during a moment, I know I was the most happy in a long time :)  It was close to 4 in the morning, on January 1 after several hours in a hot tub with close friends.  We were tired, happy, exhausted, satisfied, and ready...ready for what's to come.
Talk to you all again soon!
